Spelltropy was a plague among the fairies. Once contracted it was invariably fatal, and progressed to terminal stages in three months. After that, the patient had less than a week.

Spelltropy first appeared about twenty years before the present of The Time Paradox, in Linfen, China. It is spread through magic, and thus is completely impervious to magic. The fairies lost 25% of the population in ten years, Atlantis being the worst hit. The only known cure is the brain fluid of a silky sifaka lemur.

Symptoms include the smell of lilacs and a gel that oozes from the pores and steams away. All of the patients organs start to fail. Spelltropy has everything: Neurotoxins, cell destruction, resistance to all conventional therapies, incredibly aggressive.
